Speech Language Pathologist

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai for a Speech Language Pathologist. Responsibilities include assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders, developing customized treatment plans, providing therapy for individuals with speech and language difficulties, and supporting patients with conditions like dysphagia and other swallowing difficulties. Additionally, ensuring consistent documentation, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and working closely with patients and families to provide guidance and support are essential parts of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Speech Therapy and managing speech and communication challenges
• Ability to assess and address Language and Communication Disorders
• Expertise in identifying and treating Dysphagia and related swallowing disorders
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
• Bachelor's degree in speech-Lanuguage pathology.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
• Relevant certifications and licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Experience working with individuals of different age groups is an added advantage
