Lead MERN Stack Developer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced MERN Stack Lead who is strong in React and Node.js and can take ownership of technical delivery, guide team members, and contribute to architectural decisions. The ideal candidate has hands-on expertise across the MERN stack and the ability to lead projects end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of MERN developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.

Architect, design, and develop scalable web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.

Build high-performance UI components using ReactJS.

Develop backend services, APIs, and microservices using Node.js.

Collaborate with stakeholders (Product, Design, QA, Management) to ensure successful project execution.

Drive best practices in coding standards, performance optimization, and application security.

Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely resolution.

Participate in project planning, estimation, and technical roadmap creation.

Must-Have Skills

Strong hands-on experience with ReactJS (hooks, state management, performance optimization).

Expertise in Node.js and backend API development.

Solid understanding of MongoDB and database design patterns.

Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and microservices.

Experience leading or mentoring developers.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Good-to-Have Skills

Experience with Node.js frameworks such as NestJS.

Experience with React frameworks such as Next.js.

Exposure to DevOps, CI / CD pipelines, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

Knowledge of TypeScript.
