Role Description

The social media manager is responsible for developing and executing a company's social media strategy to increase brand awareness and customer engagement. Key duties include creating and curating content, managing social media accounts, analyzing performance metrics, and engaging with the online audience. They also often run paid advertising campaigns, monitor industry trends, and collaborate with other departments like marketing and sales.

Core responsibilities

1.Strategy development : Creating and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to meet business goals, such as increasing followers, engagement, and traffic.

2.Content creation : Producing and scheduling engaging content, including written posts, images, and videos, tailored to different platforms and target audiences.

3.Community management : Monitoring social media channels, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a positive online community.

4.Performance analysis : Tracking and analyzing key metrics (e.g., engagement rates, reach, conversions) to measure success and make data-driven adjustments to the strategy.

5.Advertising : Planning and executing paid social media advertising campaigns to drive specific results.

6.Trend monitoring : Staying up-to-date on the latest social media trends, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices.

7.Collaboration : Working with other teams, such as marketing, sales, and public relations, to ensure brand consistency and achieve company-wide objectives.

8.Influencer outreach : Sometimes, managing relationships and campaigns with influencers or public figures.

  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in building brand presence and engagement online is a plus
