Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with hands-on experience in manual and automation testing and exposure to Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing (VAPT), and Security Testing . The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills and a keen eye for identifying application vulnerabilities and performance issues.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for web and mobile applications.

Perform manual and automation testing to ensure product quality and functionality.

Conduct and support security testing activities, including VAPT and OWASP -based vulnerability assessments.

Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.

Collaborate with the development and DevOps teams to ensure timely bug resolution.

Validate security patches and configurations post vulnerability fixes.

Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices during QA cycles.

Prepare test reports, metrics, and documentation for release sign-offs.

Required Skills

2–5years of experience in Quality Assurance and Testing .

Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies .

Exposure to Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) .

Hands-on experience with Security Testing , OWASP Top 10 , and basic web application security concepts .

Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or similar.

Basic understanding of API testing and performance testing tools.

Good To Have

Certification or training in Ethical Hacking, VAPT, or Cybersecurity .

Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and CI / CD pipelines .

Exposure to cloud-based security testing environments.
