About the Role
The State Head at Kosol Energie Pvt. Ltd. will lead state-level business operations in the solar pump industry , driving sales, operations, and government liaison activities. This leadership position requires a blend of technical expertise in solar / pump systems and strong business acumen to expand market presence and achieve growth targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales Strategy
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve state targets and expand market share.
- Identify new business opportunities with farmers, industries, and government stakeholders.
2. Government & Nodal Agency Liaison
Build and maintain strong relationships with government departments and state nodal agencies (e.g., PM-KUSUM).Manage tendering processes and ensure compliance with government procurement norms.3. Channel Partner Management
Identify, onboard, and train dealers, distributors, and EPC contractors.Monitor channel performance and support them in lead generation and closures.4. Project Execution Oversight
Coordinate with technical, installation, and service teams to ensure timely, quality project delivery.Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.5. Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and manage state-level teams across sales, operations, and service functions.Align teams with organizational goals and monitor target achievement.6. Customer Relationship Management
Maintain high customer satisfaction levels and handle escalations effectively.Educate customers about product use, maintenance, and subsidy schemes.7. Market Intelligence & Reporting
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes in solar and renewable energy.Provide regular performance and insight reports to senior management.8. Payment & Documentation
Ensure timely collection of payments and manage all necessary documentation with government departments and clients.Qualifications & Skills
Education :Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy Engineering (preferred).MBA in Marketing or Sales is an added advantage.Experience :8–15 years in the solar industry, especially solar pumps, B2C sales, or government liaison roles.Proven leadership experience managing state-level operations.Technical Knowledge :Strong understanding of solar pumps, PV panels, inverters, and balance of systems (BoS).Key Skills :Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.Proven track record in achieving sales and operational targets.Familiarity with CRM and project management tools.Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the state.How to Apply
