About the Role

We are looking for a creative, passionate, and detail-oriented

Fashion / Apparel Designer

to join our growing team at

Dazra Fashions . The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of current fashion trends, excellent design sensibility, and the ability to translate ideas into

commercially successful, production-ready products .

Key Responsibilities

Create new design concepts and collections based on market trends and buyer requirements

Develop detailed

tech packs, sketches, and design sheets

for production

Coordinate with

buyers, merchandisers, sourcing, and production teams

Select appropriate

fabrics, trims, colors, and accessories

Work closely with the sampling team for

fit, quality, and design approvals

Conduct ongoing

trend research

colors, silhouettes, fabrics, seasonal themes)

Maintain and update all

design documentation and archives

Ensure designs meet

costing, timelines, and brand standards

Designing Tools & Technical Skills (Must-Have)

Adobe Illustrator (advanced)

Adobe Photoshop

Corel Draw

TUKAcad / Gerber / CLO3D (any 3D or CAD tool is a strong plus)

MS Excel / Google Sheets (for line sheets & costing)

Ability to create : Flat sketches

Tech packs

Size specs & measurement charts

BOM (Bill of Materials)

Design & Industry Knowledge Required

Strong knowledge of

garment construction & pattern basics

Understanding of

fabrics, yarns, GSM, washes, finishes, and trims

Awareness of

manufacturing processes

knits / wovens)

Knowledge of

fit standards, grading, and sampling cycles

Good sense of

color theory, prints, and surface design

Understanding of

buyer compliance and quality standards

Experience working with

export / retail / D2C brands

is a plus

Strong communication and presentation skills

Excellent time management & attention to detail

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Team player with a commercial mindset

Education

Bachelor’s / Master’s in :

Fashion Design / Costume Design / Textile Design or related field

Languages

English (required)

Tamil (preferred)
