It is setting a state of the are climate controlled facility to produce mushrooms. This projects entail massive civil and sctructural work.

Role Description

This is a contractual, hybrid off / on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor for a project located in Bagalkot. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. Day-to-day tasks will include cost control, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting. The role requires the ability to work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure that project expenditures are kept within budget and financial risks are minimized. Regular site visits and inspections are also part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience in Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Reporting
• Knowledge of preparing BOQs and Cost Planning
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
• Professional certification or membership is a plus
• Experience in the construction industry is highly beneficial
