Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with MERN stack expertise and strong DSA skills to design, develop, and maintain multi-tenant microservices platforms , ensuring scalability, reliability, and optimal performance . This is a full-time ,on-site role for a Senior Backend Engineer at Transond Systems, located in Coimbatore.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for multi-tenant platforms.
- Build microservices applying cloud-native architecture principles and industry best practices .
- Implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints , and integrations with external systems.
- Collaborate with frontend, data, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless system integration .
- Apply security, multi-tenant data isolation, and performance optimization practices.
- Optimize backend performance with Redis or other caching frameworks , database queries, and efficient data handling.
- Architect transactional vs analytical data segregation to support multi-tenant workloads.
- Apply advanced DSA expertise for algorithmically efficient solutions , data structures, and system-level optimizations.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.
Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of backend development experience, preferably in MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React, Node.js).Strong familiarity with microservices architecture principles and ability to put them into practice .High expertise in Data Structures & Algorithms (DSA) for scalable and high-performance systems.Experience with Redis or other caching frameworks for performance optimization.Proven ability to segregate transactional and analytical data in multi-tenant environments.Hands-on experience with API design, messaging queues, event-driven systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, MQTT).Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).Solid understanding of CI / CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices .Expertise in database design, optimization, and scaling (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar).Experience with security best practices : authentication, authorization, and data isolation.Nice to Have
Exposure to real-time IoT or telemetry systems .Experience with GraphQL, Redis advanced patterns, or caching frameworks .Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and serverless architectures.Knowledge of event sourcing and CQRS patterns .
