Job description

MDG Consultant –

  • Provide best practices in defining / modifying the End State MDM.
  • Data Governance Organization Target Operating Model with Roles, RACI, KPI and KRA & SLA Management for Material Master, Business Partner – Customer & Vendor and Dealer (BP – Customer with specific BP Role)
  • Identify and document key design decisions related to data models, business rules, and role-based governance workflows for ‘Four Domains’.
  • Should have experience in creating MDG Business Process Flow Diagrams (BPDs)
  • Facilitate Fit-Gap workshops to evaluate governance workflows and role definitions. Capture and validate FITs and GAPs and ensure formal approval of GAPs.
  • Extend customer existing data governance strategy to SAP MDG, leveraging SAP’s best practices to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance.
  • He Should have knowledge of SAP S / 4HANA MDG HUB central foundation supporting the ‘above mentioned Four Domains’
  • Can integrated Satellite system with MDG Hub - Salesforce, SPECPRO (Java), OWL(Java / Salesforce), SAP HANA, IMS (Mainframe), CBFC (ECC), PARAGON (ECC), PTSI (ECC), CCG (ECC), MAXIMO (Java), NPS (.Net), DIBS(Mainframe), Icertis(cloud).

Key Responsibilities :

  • 6 to 8+ years of work experience with SAP Master data with in-depth knowledge of SAP CMD and related modules.
  • Condition based Routing (Org Criteria / Bus. Rule)
  • Parallel Workflows, Parallel tasks(Create, Change / Extension / Blocking / Unblocking / Mark / Unmark for Deletion) for Both Single Mass Maintenance
  • Dynamic email notifications
  • Build upto 20 Custom Fields & all relevant Business Validation Rules (DQM) in S / 4HANA Hub MDG for ‘Four Domains’ as per Business Demand
  • Build (as per business demand) “Special One Step Emergency” Workflows for ‘Four Domains’ which can be utilized based on special circumstances & Authorizations for both Single / Mass Creation / change. This will be exactly like Standard Tcode based operation in terms of SLA
  • Enable SAP MDG Duplicate Check for central governance using standard SAP fields for all the data domains in the scope.
  • Data Validation upto 15 fields per data domain (Complex-2, Medium-5, simple-8)
