Job description

FICCI is looking to hire a Research Associate- Taxation.

Principal Accountabilities include :

1. Drafting Pre-& Post Memorandums and other representations

2. Preparing papers for briefing the FICCI Management about changes in Tax Laws and procedures and their implications for industry

3. Publish / come out with subject papers of topical interests

4. Regular interaction with Government as well as Industry

5. Organising seminars / workshops / events

6. Identifying Policy Issues and coming up with recommendations

7. Capacity building of Industry as well as Government

External interface

  • Govt. departments specifically Ministry of Finance
  • Constituents of FICCI Taxation Committee

Internal Interface

  • All sectoral Heads within FICCI (including other Sectoral Committees)
  • FICCI Presidium

    • Competencies

    Technical

  • Able to comprehend and interpret Tax Laws
  • Expertise in Direct Tax Laws and GST

    • Generic

  • Should have excellent communication skills both written and oral
