Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an AI / ML Engineer, located in Bengaluru. The AI / ML Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning models, developing algorithms, and conducting research for pattern recognition. The role includes optimising existing models, analysing large datasets, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide solutions based on AI and ML technologies.
Key Responsibilities.
- Design and implement scalable generative AI and machine learning solutions for business problems.
- Develop, train and fine tune ML and deep learning models (regression, classification, NLP etc.)
- Build scalable data pipelines for cleaning, preprocessing and transformation models.
- Collaborate with data engineers and software developers to integrate AI models into productions systems through API’s, vector databases and orchestration frameworks (eg.Langchain, Llama Index
- Mange ML lifecycle
- Ensure model scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data, and infrastructure teams to define technical requirements and deliver high-impact solutions.
- Experiment with and evaluate generative AI techniques such as retrieval – augmented generation (RAG), reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), model distillation.
Minimum qualifications required
Bachelors or master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine learning, data science or any related field.Strong programming expertise with Python, with hands on experience in Pytorch, TensorFlow or similar frameworks.Excellent with python libraries and frameworks like NumPy, pandas, scikit learn etc.Good understanding of the foundations and working principles of machine learning algorithms, linear algebra, probability theory, statistics, and optimization theory.Deep understanding of data structures, data modelling and software architectureStrong grasp with model optimisation inference efficiency and production system integrationExperience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) with containerized workflows (docker, Kubernetes)Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environmentKnowledge of at least one of the following domains : generative AI, statistical learning, optimization, NLP, deep learning or time series analysis2-3 years of relevant work experiencePreferred Qualifications
