Job Overview :
The Owner-Operator Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified owner-operators to join our fleet. The ideal candidate will have strong industry connections, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in transportation recruitment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Proactively source and recruit qualified owner-operators through online platforms, cold calls, job boards, social media, and industry events
- Screen candidates to ensure compliance with DOT and company standards
- Coordinate onboarding process, including paperwork, orientation, and setup
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates
- Work closely with operations to understand current capacity needs and hiring targets
- Maintain accurate records and track KPIs related to recruitment
Qualifications :
2+ years of experience recruiting in the trucking or logistics industryStrong understanding of owner-operator requirements, DOT regulations, and onboarding processesExcellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independentlyFamiliarity with recruiting tools, CRM systems, and applicant tracking systems (ATS)What We Offer :
