Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain integrations between EPIC / PointClickCare and third-party systems using :
HL7 (Health Level Seven – standard for healthcare data exchange)
FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources – newer standard for healthcare data)
APIs (application programming interfaces)
Configure, test, and validate workflows to make sure different systems can communicate effectively.
Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data quality so patient information is accurate and
consistent.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, analysts, clinical staff) to deliver scalable and
reliable integration solutions.
Qualifications / Skills Required
EPIC certification in relevant module(s)
4+ years of healthcare IT experience, preferably in system integrations.
Expertise in HL7 and RESTful APIs (for connecting different systems).
FHIR experience is a plus.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
