Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservation Executive to join our team in Chennai, India. As a Reservation Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing room reservations, maximizing revenue, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Plan and coordinate room reservations to optimize occupancy and revenue
- Implement effective selling techniques and strategies to maximize room sales
- Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and statistics on a timely basis
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain and update the corporate database with guest information and booking details
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Train and supervise reservation associates, delegating tasks as needed
- Ensure adherence to company policies regarding discounts and corporate rates
- Monitor and analyze market trends to adjust reservation strategies
- Assist in developing occupancy forecasts for annual budgets
- Handle VIP reservations and special requests with utmost care and attention
Qualifications
Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality ManagementMinimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industryExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishProficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong knowledge of reservation systems and hotel management softwareAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfactionAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detailAbility to multitask and prioritize effectivelyTeam player with excellent interpersonal skillsKnowledge of additional languages is a plus
