Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the Accounts and Finance function of the company
  • Oversee day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance
  • Ensure timely preparation of financial statements as per statutory requirements
  • Manage working capital, cash flows, and fund flow efficiently
  • Monitor cost controls, MIS reporting, and internal financial processes
  • Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other statutory regulations
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, financial institutions, and government authorities
  • Implement and improve ERP / financial systems for better control and accuracy
  • Support senior management with financial insights, forecasts, and strategic recommendations
  • Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, ensuring efficiency and accuracy

Mandatory Qualifications and Skills :

  • CA / CMA (India) / CFA / MBA (Finance) with a strong accounting and finance background
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Accounts / Finance, preferably in an Engineering or Manufacturing company
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation (direct and indirect), and statutory compliance
  • Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Tally. Experience in ERPNext implementation or migration will be a strong advantage
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
  • Desired Skills and Competencies :

  • Experience in managing audits (internal, statutory, and tax)
  • Exposure to IFRS and global reporting standards
  • Knowledge of inventory valuation, product costing, and variance analysis
  • Ability to drive process improvements and implement internal controls
  • Familiarity with financial due diligence, mergers, or capital raising processes
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel, Power BI, or other financial modeling tools
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to align financial goals with business objectives
