Job Description - Internal

We are seeking a skilled Finance Analyst _to join our treasury tower operations -Global finance Services Division.

The incumbent would play a key role within the Treasury team and support the Center of Excellence.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore, KA-India

What You Will Do

Job Roles and Responsibilities

• This is generally an entry level staff position in Treasury for hires pursuing a finance career.
• This position reports to Treasury supervisors or Managers in Treasury This position will develop a foundational understanding of Caterpillar's business and finance practices, systems, and procedures.
• Perform Treasury operation functions such as running data, extracting report, reconciliation, FX support, month end closing activities.
• Provide Treasury technology support in terms of provisioning access, Bank account management data & support to the Global Treasury system users.
• Participate in the improvement ideas and projects Apply general finance & Treasury related principles Gain knowledge of Caterpillar's philosophy, products, dealers and organization.
• Ability to work in night shifts to support Global operations

The Finance Analyst will be exposed to a variety of Finance & Treasury functions and will :

Basic Qualifications :

Education :

Requires a college degree in finance, economics, business administration or information technology related field or equivalent experience in the areas of foreign exchange, commodity management, economics, cash management, banking, financial markets or funding.

Machine Learning : Knowledge of principles, technologies and algorithms of machine learning; ability to develop, implement and deliver related systems, products and services.

Level Working Knowledge :

Programming Languages : Knowledge of basic concepts and capabilities of programming; ability to use tools, techniques and platforms in order to write and modify programming languages.

Level Working Knowledge :

Query and Database Access Tools : Knowledge of data management systems; ability to use, support and access facilities for searching, extracting and formatting data for further use.

Level Extensive Experience :

Requirements Analysis : Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
