Role Overview : Finance Business Partner – Supply Chain

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Finance Business Partner to support Lenskart’s Supply Chain function, covering manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and distribution. This role will act as a strategic bridge between Finance and Operations, driving visibility, accountability, and financial discipline across one of Lenskart’s most critical business verticals.

You will work closely with Supply Chain leadership to enable data-driven decision-making, optimize costs, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency, profitability, and scalability as Lenskart expands globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Head of Supply Chain and functional leaders to drive business performance, cost efficiency, and strategic decision-making across manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and procurement.
  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the Supply Chain vertical, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Deliver actionable insights through variance analysis, productivity tracking, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Drive ROI modeling and payback analysis for key projects and capacity expansion investments.
  • Build robust dashboards and MIS to monitor KPIs on cost, throughput, efficiency, and working capital.
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, procurement, and tech teams to strengthen governance and financial controls.
  • Support strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations with analytical rigor and commercial inputs.
  • Act as the finance custodian for inventory and logistics — managing costs, efficiencies, and cash flow implications.
  • Provide scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis to guide decisions on network design, automation, and expansion projects.

Key Requirements

  • Chartered Accountant / MBA (Finance) with strong business partnering experience.
  • Proven track record in business finance, FP&A, or plant / supply chain finance roles, ideally within consumer, manufacturing, or retail sectors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with financial modeling, cost analysis, and operations metrics.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, Power BI / analytics tools, and Excel-based modeling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and high-growth environment.
