We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our kitchen. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality, and maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff.
- Ensure food quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Plan and create menus in collaboration with the head chef.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills.
- Assist in the hiring and performance management of kitchen personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Kitchen Supervisor or similar role (2-10 years).Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.Ability to manage kitchen staff and coordinate kitchen activities effectively.Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficient in using kitchen equipment and tools.Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.Education
