What you will do

Metyis is growing! We are seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Frontend Developer to join our Software & Technology team.

Develop clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend code.

Build and optimize reusable components and front-end libraries.

Implement highly responsive user interface components using React.js.

Collaborate with UX / UI designers to translate wireframes into high-quality code.

Work closely with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components.

Test, debug, and resolve issues to enhance application performance.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and usability.

Evaluate and estimate the feasibility, complexity, and time requirements for new features.

Implement unit tests to maintain code quality and reliability.

Collaborate with global teams for development and quality assurance.

Proactively identify and escalate issues and risks at the module level.

What you’ll bring

2-4 years of hands-on experience in front-end web development.

Experience with SFCC development is strongly preferred, particularly with SFRA

Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and pre-processing platforms like SASS or LESS.

Solid understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.

Familiarity with Node.js and modern front-end build tools (e.g., Babel, Webpack, NPM).

Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end components with backend services.

Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms like JSON Web Tokens (JWT).

Experience with PWA development and user interface design is a plus.

Basic knowledge of design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.

Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is an added advantage.

Proficient in version control systems like Git, with experience in collaborative environments.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work proactively and meet deadlines.

Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Degree in computer science or equivalent professional experience
