Windows Virtual Desktop Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize virtual desktop environments on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in deploying and supporting WVD solutions, along with a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies, user profile management, and security best practices in a virtual desktop infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deploy, configure, and manage Windows Virtual Desktop (Azure Virtual Desktop) environments
• Manage host pools , session hosts, application groups, and user assignments
• Perform image management and updates using custom or marketplace images
• Configure and manage FSLogix profiles and storage
• Monitor performance, availability, and usage of virtual desktop resources
• Troubleshoot WVD-related issues including session connectivity, user logon problems, and application errors
• Integrate WVD with Azure Active Directory , Microsoft Intune , and Group Policy
• Implement and manage security controls , including role-based access control (RBAC), conditional access, and multi-factor authentication (MFA)
• Work with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration with networking, identity, and security infrastructure
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to WVD deployments and procedures
• Participate in patch management and compliance reporting
• Provide support and training for end users as needed
