Experience Required : 5–10 Years (relevant Supermicro experience mandatory)

About the Role :

We are looking for a Solution Architect – Hardware with hands-on experience in Supermicro-based server solutions . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, and pricing server and hardware solutions based on customer requirements.

This role requires strong expertise in Supermicro architecture, component selection, and pricing models , along with the ability to translate client needs into optimized hardware solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and build Supermicro server solutions tailored to client specifications.
  • Prepare 1–2 technical and commercial quotes based on customer requirements.
  • Determine optimal configurations and arrive at final pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solution accuracy and cost efficiency.
  • Stay updated on Supermicro product lines, hardware trends, and pricing models .
  • Support sales teams with technical validation during customer evaluations.
  • Work with distributors and vendors for component pricing and availability.
  • Ensure all proposed solutions meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Proven experience in designing and configuring Supermicro servers .
  • Strong knowledge of hardware components (CPU, RAM, storage, networking, etc.).
  • Experience in creating and evaluating hardware quotes and BoMs .
  • Familiarity with Supermicro pricing models and procurement processes .
  • Excellent understanding of enterprise server infrastructure and system integration.
  • Ability to communicate technical solutions effectively with internal teams and clients.

    • Preferred Background :

  • Currently or previously worked with organizations like Sheeltron, RPTech, Meganet, or Netweb .
  • Experience working with Supermicro distributors, resellers, or system integrators .
  • Exposure to pre-sales or solution architect roles in the hardware domain.
  • Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai .
