We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Data Science and Automation to lead our Data Science professionals and Digital Intelligent Automation teams. This role will be instrumental in defining and executing the overall Data Science and automation strategy, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable implementation of business use cases.

Director of Data Science will lead and innovate within our data science organization. This role will drive thought leadership, customer engagement, and cutting-edge AI / ML solutions including GenAI and Agentic AI solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business impact. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data science, supply chain / logistics expertise, and a passion for solving complex problems through innovative approaches.

The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics lifecycle in order to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting / business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.

Data Science applies base, scientific methodologies from various disciplines, techniques and tools that extracts knowledge and insight from data to solve complex business problems on large data sets, integrating multiple systems.

What We Are Looking For :

Education : Masters or PhD in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

• Experience : 18+ years of proven experience in applying machine learning, deep learning, and data analysis within healthcare, life sciences, supply chain domain
• Technical Skills : Hands-on expertise in Generative AI techniques, prototyping, SQL, R, and Python for statistical analysis and programming.
• Demonstrate proficiency with various approaches in regression, classification, and cluster analysis
• Customer-Facing Skills : Strong ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and deliver tailored solutions that drive business outcomes.
• Communication : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Leadership : Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
