Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable applications using the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) to support critical business operations.
- Build, configure, and troubleshoot healthcare data interfaces using Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect) , ensuring secure and reliable data exchange across systems.
- Work with healthcare interoperability standards, including HL7 (v2, v3), FHIR, CCDA, and X12 , to enable seamless data integration.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams product managers, engineers, and clinical staff to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Debug and resolve issues in .NET applications and Mirth Connect channels, ensuring timely fixes and minimal downtime.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for applications and interfaces.
- Stay current with emerging .NET technologies and Mirth Connect enhancements to drive continuous improvement in the technical stack.
Required Skills and Qualifications
3-6 years of experience as a .NET Developer with strong expertise in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core .Proven hands-on experience with Mirth Connect (NextGen Connect) , including channel creation, transformers, and filters.Strong ability to implement complex data transformations and business logic using JavaScript within Mirth Connect.Experience managing full lifecycle of Mirth channels (Dev, QA, Production), including database connections, SFTP, and environment-specific configurations.Skilled in troubleshooting channel errors, resolving message processing failures, and addressing performance bottlenecks.Solid understanding of healthcare interoperability standards , especially HL7 v2 and FHIR.Proficiency with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server ), including writing advanced SQL queries and stored procedures.Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and RESTful API design .Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience working in an Agile / Scrum development environment.Skills Required
