Job description

As Enterprise Solution Architect, you will apply your deep business expertise and strong understanding of the architecture to help shape enterprise technology strategy and lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise technology solutions. You will work closely with other principals and senior strategic leaders to drive alignment with overall enterprise business and technology strategy and will guide engineering organizations to continually improve engineering practices and implementation outcomes.

You are :

  • A self-starter, continuous learner and experienced solutions leader who is able to transform abstract ideas into actionable customer solutions, who thrives in pioneering emerging technology and partnering across the company with product managers, business partners, platform architects and executive stakeholders.
  • You focus not only on whats delivered but also how its delivered and its final outcome.

You Will :

  • Partner with business stakeholders to architect comprehensive insurance solutions across products, distribution channels, and customer service capabilities
  • Champion lean business case development focusing on measurable outcomes, Drive innovation through emerging technology adoption
  • Lead proof-of-concepts for new business capabilities, Influences : Technology Strategy, Solution Design, Architecture Standards.
  • Demonstrates Thought leadership and mentor a team of solution architects and business analysts in insurance domain expertise
  • Create solution roadmaps aligned with business strategy, Partner with senior leadership, engineering teams, and product managers to make key architectural decisions, ensuring technical feasibility and scalability.
  • Stay abreast of emerging business technology trends and evaluate their potential to impact our technology stack and overall architecture.
  • You can act as a bridge between technology teams and business teams.
  • Lead initiatives to integrate AI / GenAI technologies into existing systems for enhanced decision making, automation and customer experience
  • Ensure adherence to standards, patterns, data privacy regulations, and best practices across

    • all systems and platforms.

  • Collaborate with enterprise architects to define standards and design patterns.
  • Lead and / or contribute to the evaluation, selection, and implementation of enterprise technologies.
  • Publish strategic roadmaps, white papers and engage peer architects in forming strategies for solving key business imperatives.
  • Able to present and articulate strategic initiatives to executive leaders
  • Collaborate with : Business Unit Leaders, Enterprise Architecture, Development Teams
  • Participate in talent development and recruiting.
  • Design patterns in microservices architecture and few practical questions.
  • Scalability in event driven systems like Kafka.
  • Cloud migration
  • Authentication, Authorization - Okta, KeyCloak.
  • Strategy in choosing DB type, RDBMS vs No-sql.

    • You Have :

  • Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 15+ years of professional software development, architecture, and software-delivery experience
  • Expertise with service-oriented, cloud native, and modernization architectures and patterns.
  • Design patterns in microservices architecture and few practical questions.
  • Scalability in event driven systems like Kafka.
  • Cloud migration
  • Authentication, Authorization - Okta, KeyCloak.
  • Strategy in choosing DB type, RDBMS vs No-sql.
  • Experience in designing hybrid architectures where applications reside both on-premises and public cloud including understanding of cloud provider services.
  • Understanding broad range of technologies including Java, Node.js, .NET / C#, Python, JavaScript, JSON schema design, event-driven, pub-sub, API, Database Competency with a broad range of web technologies including React, Angular
  • Strong understanding of software delivery, continuous integration, and continuous delivery concepts and technologies
  • Proven ability to grow and mentor developers at all levels and in different technologies
  • Competency with security practices, software delivery, and cloud security principles
  • The ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with business and executive

    • stakeholders

  • The ability to accelerate impact and lead change, create business case and associated financials
  • The ability to participate and respond to technology audits

    • Preferred Qualification :

  • Experience is Enterprise Architecture, with an emphasis on digital transformation and Solution Architecture
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity frameworks, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in leading architecture reviews and governance processes with business partners.
  • Experience with cloud technologies and insurance services, preferably AWS
  • Good understanding of GenAI frameworks, tools and best practices
  • Proven track record of architecting solutions that demand operating large scale business critical systems in Insurance domain.
  • Nice to have knowledge of Insurance Ecosystem of packages like ALIP, Fineos, LOMA etc
