Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Strategic Direction :
- Develop and implement a long-term vision for client’s Investment Banking practice, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives.
- Lead the profitability and growth strategy, driving expansion into new markets, geographies, and investor segments.
- Establish Client as a preferred advisor for investors and enterprises seeking capital solutions in emerging markets.
- Collaborate with senior leadership across group entities to enhance synergies and create integrated solutions for clients.
- Represent the firm as a thought leader at industry conferences, investor forums, and global capital markets events, shaping discussions around impact finance, ESG, and blended capital models.
- Business Development and P&L Management :
- Own and drive deal origination, identifying and structuring equity & M&A transactions across impact-driven sectors.
- Develop and nurture C-suite and investor relationships with global and domestic PE / VC funds, DFIs, investment banks, and institutional investors.
- Lead fundraising mandates, assisting clients in securing capital through strategic investment partnerships.
- Strengthen global investor networks, positioning client as a go-to investment banking advisory firm for sustainable finance transactions.
- Innovate new financial instruments, structures, and investment models that align with ESG and impact-driven capital strategies.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and risk management in all transactions.
- Execution & Transaction Management :
- Oversee the end-to-end deal execution process, from financial structuring, due diligence, and valuation analysis to investor negotiations and closure.
- Manage high-stakes negotiations, balancing client interests with investor expectations to drive successful transaction outcomes.
- Leverage data-driven insights, financial modeling, and deal structuring techniques to maximize transaction efficiency and impact.
- Ensure compliance with global financial regulations, corporate governance standards, and risk management protocols.
- Work closely with legal, financial, and sector experts to mitigate risks and optimize deal outcomes for clients.
- Team Development and Talent Management :
- Build and nurture a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, entrepreneurship and performance excellence.
- Define the key competencies required for team success and actively mentor and coach emerging leaders within the practice.
- Establish a robust performance management and reward system, ensuring high levels of team engagement and retention.
- Partner with HR to create development programs that attract and grow superior talent and build a pipeline for future leadership roles.
- Monitor and evaluate team KPIs, ensuring alignment with overall strategic goals.
- Attract and retain top-tier investment banking talent, ensuring expertise in structured finance, M&A, debt syndication, and capital advisory.

Revenue & P&L Performance – Achieve business growth targets and maintain high profitability across transactions.Deal Execution & Capital Mobilization – Successfully close multiple high-impact transactions across equity, debt, M&A, and structured finance.Investor & Market Engagement – Expand and strengthen global investor networks, and institutional investor relationships, engagement with PE / VCs, DFIs, and strategic investors securing new investment partnerships.Market Positioning & Thought Leadership – Enhance client’s brand visibility, contributing to global dialogues on sustainable finance and impact investing.Talent Development & Team Performance – Strengthen talent retention, mentorship programs, and professional development within the team by fostering a dynamic, skilled, and high-performing investment banking team.Required Skills and Qualifications :
M&A advisory, or structured finance.Deep expertise in deal structuring, capital raising, valuation and due diligence across impact-driven sectors.Extensive relationships with institutional investors, DFIs, family offices, impact funds, and strategic investors.Exceptional negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and deal-making skills.Proven track record in closing multi-million-dollar transactions across diverse sectors.Strong leadership capabilities, with experience in managing P&L, business units, drive financial performance and multi-disciplinary teams.MBA / CA / CFA or equivalent financial qualification from a top institution.Desired Competencies :
