Role Objective :
We’re looking for a Project Engineer to join our newly formed support hub. This role involves managing project orders, coordinating technical activities, and ensuring timely and high-quality project execution. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
🔹 Project Execution
- Assist with the execution of projects post-purchase order (PO) placement.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Suppliers to determine project specifications based on product design and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to define project goals and objectives.
🔹 Project Coordination
Monitor and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and coordinating customer activities.Work closely with project teams to ensure the project life cycle is managed properly.Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks.🔹 Documentation Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring timely updates and submissions.Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain inspection criteria for project orders.Maintain documentation through ERP systems for proper tracking.🔹 Technical Assistance
Provide technical assistance to customers, ensuring their requirements are met.Provide technical support to project teams and address engineering-related queries.Collaborate with senior engineers to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.🔹 Project Meetings
Attend project kick-off meetings to understand expectations and objectives.Attend meetings with cross-functional teams and support project execution.Attend meetings with customers as required.🔹 Delivery Management
Track, monitor, and report project deliverables monthly to senior management.🔹 Customer Service
Uphold a high level of customer service by meeting expectations on all project deliverables.🔹 Cross-Functional Support
Support various areas of the business as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative approach.Qualifications :
BE / B.Tech in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.Certification in Project Engineering or Management is a plus.Experience :
3 + years in project roles, preferably in process instrumentation or corrosion monitoring.Strong understanding of refinery / Oil & Gas sector instrumentation and corrosion management.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Key Attributes :
