Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Accountant, based in Kochi. The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for assisting with bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, managing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting internal audits. The role also involves working closely with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and accuracy in daily financial processes.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and preparing financial statements
• Knowledge of accounting software and tools, along with a solid understanding of financial regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure precision in accounting tasks
• Attention to detail and organizational skills to effectively manage financial records
• Ability to collaborate with team members and communicate effectively in a professional environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
