Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
  • Review and analyze data models; perform GAP analysis with business needs and Power BI capabilities.
  • Design and model efficient Power BI schemas optimized for performance.
  • Transform and prepare data using Power BI, SQL, or Microsoft Fabric.
  • Create and optimize DAX formulas, reports, and dashboards for advanced analytics.
  • Develop and maintain SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction and transformation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Ensure BI solutions follow data governance, performance, and security Skills :
  • Power BI : Report creation, dashboard development, data modeling, custom visuals,

performance optimization.

  • Microsoft Fabric : Data pipelines, dataflows, workspace and dataset management (certification preferred).
  • SQL : Query writing, stored procedures, database optimization.
  • Data Transformation Tools : Power Query, Microsoft Fabric tools for data preparation.
  • DAX Formulas : Advanced calculations and measures for analytics.
  • Preferred Tools / Knowledge : Azure Data Factory, Excel Power Query, or similar BI tools.

    • Education :

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related :
  • 2 - 4 years of proven experience as a BI Developer or Microsoft Fabric Developer with a strong focus on Power BI
