Senior Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant at Mayur Infra Construction Pvt Ltd in Goa, India. The Senior Accountant will manage daily financial operations, including maintaining and reconciling ledgers, preparing financial reports, managing tax compliance, and overseeing financial transactions. The role involves collaborating with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data, aiding in streamlining budgets, and supporting audits. Attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and adherence to financial regulations are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial accounting, management accounting, and financial reporting
• Strong knowledge in budgeting, tax compliance, and audit preparation
• Experience with bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and general ledger management
• Proficient in financial software and tools, such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA / CPA qualification is a plus)
• Experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector
• Knowledge of local financial regulations and compliance requirements in India
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
