Role Overview
The Business Analyst (BA) at Sunrise Technologies plays a critical role in bridging the gap between clients, designers, developers, and testers. The BA ensures that business needs are clearly defined, UI / UX designs are accurately translated into functional deliverables, and project execution aligns with Sunrise’s quality and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Analysis & Documentation
Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
Create clear
functional specifications
and
functionality documents
to guide UI / UX design and development.
Translate business goals into structured technical tasks for the design and development teams.
2. UI / UX Coordination
Work closely with UI / UX designers to ensure
Figma mockups
are aligned with project scope and requirements.
Understand how
UI mockups evolve into final UI designs
and ensure designs meet usability and functionality expectations.
Prepare a
UI completion schedule
for front-end developers and track progress against milestones.
3. API Planning & Management
Collaborate with technical teams to identify and define a
comprehensive list of APIs
required for project implementation.
Coordinate
API scheduling , manage dependencies, and ensure timely delivery in sync with front-end and back-end development.
4. Project Tracking & Delivery
Monitor project timelines to ensure
UI design, development, and API integration
remain on schedule.
Identify potential bottlenecks early, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure smooth handoffs across teams.
Use project management tools to track deliverables, updates, and progress across all stakeholders.
5. Quality Assurance & UAT
Review
test cases
prepared by the QA team to ensure complete coverage of business requirements.
Perform
daily validation testing
to ensure that deliverables meet design and functionality expectations.
Prepare
UAT flow documents
and coordinate
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
sessions with clients to validate project outcomes.
6. Communication & Stakeholder Management
Act as the
primary liaison
between business users, design teams, and technical teams.
Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather feedback, align priorities, and ensure transparency in communication.
Present progress updates, risks, and solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
Experience : Minimum of 1
year
as a Business Analyst, preferably within a software development or UI / UX-focused environment.
Technical Skills :
Strong understanding of
UI / UX workflows ,
API lifecycle , and
software delivery pipelines .
Familiarity with
Figma ,
Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Trello) , and
project tracking systems .
Basic knowledge of
SQL ,
data flows , and
API integration concepts
is an advantage.
Analytical Skills :
Proven ability to translate business goals into actionable technical requirements and ensure delivery alignment.
Communication Skills :
Excellent verbal and written communication; able to simplify complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management :
Experience coordinating multiple teams (UI, development, QA) and ensuring adherence to schedules
Minimum 1 year of experience with a Product or Service company is required. Freelancing experience will not be considered.
Salary :
For candidates with 1 to 2 years of experience : ₹20,000 per month (Non-negotiable)
For candidates with more than 2 years of experience : ₹30,000 per month (Non-negotiable)
