About Seven Seas Strategies

Seven Seas Strategies partners with U.S. multi-site healthcare groups to build disciplined, CFO-ready finance operations and data-driven decision making.

Role overview

  • You will take immediate ownership of day-to-day accounting while designing a scalable finance model across four operating companies under a holding company.
  • You will work fully remote from India, joining scheduled meetings in U.S. Eastern Time and using India hours for focused build work.

What you will do

  • You will clean and re-classify 2025 activity in QuickBooks Online, reconcile bank and credit card accounts, and resolve intercompany items so the general ledger reflects economic reality.
  • You will design and implement the 2026 finance operating system including a fit-for-purpose Chart of Accounts, a close calendar, documentation standards, approval thresholds, and practical QuickBooks rules and workflows.
  • You will run a timely monthly close (target T+7) with complete reconciliations
  • You will prepare a quarterly budget, track actuals versus plan, and publish variance analysis with clear, actionable commentary.
  • You will start hands-on with bookkeeping for the first six months, then supervise a bookkeeper, review their work, and approve month-end.
  • You will advise the CFO on risks, opportunities, and process improvements, and support audit or lender requests with organized documentation.

    • What you bring

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 4+ years of relevant experience; CA Inter or CA is preferred.
  • You are advanced in QuickBooks Online and strong in Excel / Google Sheets (lookups, pivots, reconciliation models).
  • You communicate clearly in written and spoken English and can explain accounting choices and trade-offs to U.S. stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable with multi-entity work and can organize documentation, evidence, and SOPs with care and completeness.
  • (Nice to have) You have exposure to healthcare revenue flows and EHR handoffs, basic BI tools (Power BI / Looker Studio), and US GAAP concepts.

    • Working model

  • Remote from India, full-time (40+ hours / week).
  • Hybrid hours : U.S. Eastern Time for meetings and workshops; India hours for build and documentation.

    • Compensation

  • ₹8 - 12 LPA base, depending on experience and credentials, plus 15% performance bonus and reasonable WFH / learning support.
