Position Overview
An Alliances / Partnership Marketer in an IT services company is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that strengthen partnerships with strategic alliances. This role focuses on driving joint campaigns, enhancing partner relationships, and aligning marketing efforts with business objectives to generate pipeline growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Marketing
- Develop and execute co-marketing strategies with strategic alliance partners (e.g., cloud providers, etc.).
- Collaborate with partners to create joint marketing campaigns, sales plays, and events that drive lead generation and pipeline growth.
2. Campaign Management
Design and manage integrated marketing programs to promote alliance solutions across digital channels, webinars, trade shows, and field events.Optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and ensure alignment with corporate goals.3. Relationship Management
Build and maintain trust-based relationships with key marketing stakeholders at alliance partners.Act as the primary liaison between internal teams (e.g., sales, product marketing) and external partners to ensure seamless collaboration.4. Sales Enablement
Provide sales teams with tools, content to effectively promote service lines.Develop partner-specific sales materials such as presentations, case studies, and demos.5. Metrics and Reporting
Set KPIs for partner marketing programs and track progress against goals.Conduct quarterly reviews with alliance marketers to measure success, identify gaps, and refine strategies6. Event Management
Organize partner-hosted conferences, workshops, or webinars to showcase joint solutions.Create 'event-in-a-box' formats for regional execution by field marketing teams7. Brand Building
Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials.Enhance the company's reputation as a leader in IT services through thought leadership content.Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.Experience : 4-5 years of partner marketing experience in B2B IT services industry.Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with ERP, cloud technologies, data protection solutions, or enterprise IT services is advantageous.Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written skills for engaging stakeholders and creating impactful content.Project Management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.Additional Attributes
