Job Title : Sr / Staff QA Engineer

Business Unit : IN Cloud Application Engineering

About the Role :

We are seeking highly skilled Sr / Staff QA Engineers with 412 years of experience in QA automation, cloud networking, and wireless testing. The role requires strong expertise in designing end-to-end test strategies, automating test cases, and validating complex networking protocols and cloud-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise networking, wireless protocols, and automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and automation frameworks for cloud-based applications.
  • Validate solutions across AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and clustering environments.
  • Perform functional, regression, scale, and performance testing of wired and wireless networking protocols (VLAN, IP, STP, TCP, UDP, VRRP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, SPBM, etc.
  • Conduct UI test automation using Selenium, Playwright, or similar tools.
  • Test and validate enterprise wireless networks, network security protocols (AAA, 802.1X, VPN, Captive Portal, Firewalls, SSL).
  • Perform troubleshooting and debugging using tools like Wireshark, Ethereal, JMeter.
  • Work on virtualization and hypervisors (ESX, Hyper-V).
  • Contribute to automation using Java, Python, ROBOT, Perl, Go, TCL / TK.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Document test plans, defects, and provide clear reporting to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 412 years of experience in QA & Automation.
  • Strong hands-on testing experience with cloud-based applications and cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and clustering solutions.
  • Experience in end-to-end test strategy, planning, and automation.
  • Proficiency in networking protocols (wired and wireless).
  • Strong scripting / programming skills (Java, Python, ROBOT, Perl, Go, TCL / TK).
  • Exposure to network security protocols and enterprise wireless testing.
  • Proficiency with Linux / Unix environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    • Preferred / Added Advantages :

  • Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Experience in Enterprise Network Solutions testing.
  • Expertise in scale and performance testing in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with traffic generators (Ixia / Spirent).
  • Experience with AI / ML-based testing approaches and GitHub Copilot.
  • Industry certifications such as CCNA (R&S), CWNA, Security certifications.
