Chief Delivery Officer / EVP – Global Delivery
Role Overview
The Chief Delivery Officer (CDO) / EVP – Global Delivery is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery operations across Infra, AI & Analytics, Cloud, CRM, and ERP service lines. The role ensures predictable, profitable, and high-quality delivery while driving transformation, scalability, and customer success across global engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery Leadership & Governance
Lead execution of large, complex client engagements across Infra, AI, Cloud, CRM, and ERP portfolios.
Establish robust delivery governance frameworks with defined KPIs, SLAs, and escalation mechanisms.
Ensure high-quality, on-time, and profitable delivery across all regions.
2. Leadership Hiring & Management
Build, mentor, and manage a strong leadership layer including Delivery Heads, Program Directors, and Solution Architects.
Drive succession planning, performance accountability, and a customer-first delivery culture.
3. Presales & Solutioning
Partner with Sales and Account Management on deal qualification, solution design, and bid defense.
Oversee solution architects to create competitive, profitable RFP / RFI responses.
Align delivery feasibility and profitability with the sales cycle.
4. Partnerships & Ecosystem Development
Build alliances with technology partners, ISVs, hyperscalers, and consulting firms.
Co-develop go-to-market strategies and generate joint revenue opportunities.
5. Business Leadership
Define strategic direction across multiple service lines including Infra, AI, CRM, ERP, and Cloud.
Drive business growth and profitability by aligning delivery outcomes with corporate objectives.
Strengthen relationships with strategic partners (e.g., Salesforce, SAP, OEMs) to expand delivery capability.
6. Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Build and sustain trusted relationships with CXO and VP-level client stakeholders.
Serve as a strategic advisor on technology, transformation, and innovation initiatives.
Identify account expansion opportunities and drive long-term customer value.
7. Operational & Financial Accountability
Own and manage the Delivery P&L, ensuring revenue and margin targets are met.
Optimize workforce planning, utilization, and global resource deployment.
Drive delivery efficiency through automation, AI, and global delivery models.
Key Skills & Competencies
Proven experience in hiring, mentoring, and managing senior delivery leaders and architects.
Strong presales acumen with hands-on experience in RFPs, solutioning, and client presentations.
Deep client engagement and relationship management at CXO / VP level.
Demonstrated P&L ownership for portfolios exceeding $100M.
Strategic and analytical mindset with execution excellence and business acumen.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology; MBA preferred.
Experience in IT Services with 8–10 years in global delivery leadership roles.
Expertise across multi-service line delivery : Infra, AI / Analytics, ERP / CRM, and Cloud Transformation.
Strong presales and client engagement experience with a proven deal-win record.
