Associate Principal / Principal - Advanced Analytics & AI Integration

Role Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Advanced Analytics Consultant with a strong foundation in AI / ML integration to lead the design and deployment of intelligent, data-driven solutions. This role will work at the intersection of business strategy, advanced data modeling, and artificial intelligence to drive measurable outcomes for clients in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or broader commercial domain.

Responsibilities :

AI-Enabled Analytics & Modeling

Lead the development and implementation of AI and machine learning models to solve complex business problems such as segmentation, churn prediction, targeting optimization, and personalization.

Evaluate multiple AI / ML techniques (e.g., supervised / unsupervised learning, NLP, deep learning) to determine the most effective approach.

Create scalable, production-ready solutions that integrate with business processes.

Data Management & Exploration

Work with large, diverse datasets, including structured and unstructured data from internal and third-party sources (e.g., Rx, patient-level, longitudinal, sales, CRM).

Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and data cleansing to prepare inputs for modeling.

Identify and address biases or imbalances in data that may affect model performance in real-world deployment.

Business Consulting & Strategy Integration

Translate analytical outcomes into clear business recommendations and work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.

Partner with business leaders to identify high-impact opportunities where AI can add value.

Develop strategic roadmaps for AI adoption and integration within client organizations.

Visualization & Communication

Build interactive dashboards and visualization tools using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms to showcase model results and insights.

Communicate technical concepts and model outputs to non-technical stakeholders in a compelling and actionable format.

Create data-driven stories using strong presentation and storytelling skills.

Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Stay current with the latest AI, machine learning, and data science trends and incorporate relevant innovations into client solutions.

Explore new data sources and modeling techniques to enhance model performance and insight generation.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

12+ years of experience in data analytics, with 3+ years in AI / ML model development and deployment.

Prior experience in pharma / life sciences is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a consulting or strategic analytics capacity.

Technical Skills : Proficient in

Python ,

R , or

SQL

for data wrangling and model development.

Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Familiar with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, Google Vertex AI).

Hands-on with

Power BI ,

Tableau , or other visualization tools.

Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for executive reporting.
