Primary skill - AWS RDS, Postgres,Terraform with migration experience.Location – ONLY CHENNAIShift details – 2nd Shift(Shift may end at either 10 : 30 PM IST or 11 : 30 PM IST.)Client interview (Yes / NO) – Yes- Name- Contact No- Email ID- Total Experience- Relevant Experience- Current location- Pref Location- Current company- CTC- ECTC- Notice PeriodDBA : Activities : - AWS RDS Database Disaster Recovery Simulation- Perform DB tests twice in a year using aws cli- Periodically Data restore tests- Database engine upgrade (major / minor) - Heroku Postgres, AWS RDS Postgres, AWS Aurora Postgres- CSDB / RODB manual feed extraction- DBA Ops manually fetch data and provide information for RODB / CSDB data feeds for all AWS RDS databases routinely (this task will be automated)- Monitoring / Performance tuning- Sequences monitor for AITs - quarterly- Extract and prepare Control Center users information from LLE for Authhub data feed - monthly- Implement ARM new / revoke access requests - frequently- Monitor the databases and propose solutions for queries performance improvements - periodically- Support / Troubleshooting / Resolve RDS DB production incidents- Support for Application / QA teams - running queries in LLE to help them testing / validating / debugging - very frequent- Compliance Audit- Provide various database related evidence requested by AIT's owners (required for RIMS-GRM, Trident survey, etc)- Coding, debugging and maintenance for existing DB related controls (AWS lambda code (python))- Infrastructure build of RDS in AWS- Cloudwatch alerts- Various lambda functions- RDS instances- Guardium / GIS DB Activity monitoring (we are working with various teams involved to implement and test GIS Guardium solution)- Migration of databases from legacy AWS accounts to new AWS accounts. Support for creation of new RDS instances, initial setup (roles / users / schema), and data migration (using Postgres utilities (pg_dump / pg_restore) or AWS DMS)- Migration of legacy code from Ruby to Java, involving data transformation and migration. DBA team is supporting application team with code reviews, queries tunning recommendations for data migration / validation, etc.- Exago BI tool upgrade with transition from legacy metadata storage (files) to RDS DB storage. We are supporting new database initial setup and metadata migration.- DBA Support during the releasesTools : - CircleCI ( CI / C pipeline)- Terraform (for Infrastructure build)- Jira ( ticket tracking)- Git / Github- ITSM - Remedy (incident tracking system)- Confluence ( for documentation)- Python / Bash ( for AWS scripts and task automation)- AWS cloud services- pgAdmin- AWS CLI- Heroku CLI- Splunk
