Job description

Job Overview :

We are looking for experienced SAP ABAP Developers with strong hands-on experience in ABAP for HANA, OData Services, and RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model). The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of S / 4HANA, BTP, and modern SAP development practices, along with excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using Object-Oriented ABAP and ABAP on HANA technologies.
  • Develop and consume OData services for seamless integration with SAP Fiori and external systems.
  • Implement RAP APIs and contribute to Restful ABAP Programming Model projects.
  • Work on IDOC and SOAP-based interfaces for system integration.
  • Create and optimize CDS Views and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) for efficient data handling.
  • Implement BADI (Business Add-In) enhancements and custom logic as per business needs.
  • Participate in S / 4HANA upgrade and migration projects.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and project standards.

Required Skills & Experience :

For Developers (Up to 6 Years) :

  • Strong experience in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) Classes, Interfaces, OO ALVs.
  • Hands-on experience in developing and consuming OData Services.
  • Experience in IDOC and SOAP-based interfaces.
  • Proficiency in BADI Enhancements, CDS Views, and AMDP.
  • Exposure to ABAP on HANA and S / 4HANA upgrade environments.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting abilities.

    • For Senior / Lead Developers (7+ Years) :

  • Strong experience in RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model) building and exposing RAP APIs.
  • Experience in SAP BTP application development or integration.
  • Proven expertise in OO ABAP, OData, CDS Views, AMDP, and BADI.
  • Involvement in ABAP on HANA and S / 4HANA upgrade / migration projects.
  • Ability to lead technical design discussions and mentor junior developers.

    • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with SAP BTP
  • Knowledge of Fiori / UI5 integration
  • Understanding of Agile methodology
