Role Overview :

Hiring an experienced Cisco R&S Network Engineer (8+ years) to manage and optimize ultra-low latency, high-availability trading network infrastructure in a SEBI-regulated DC / DR environment like the National Stock Exchange. The role involves real-time network operations, routing stability, and controlled change management under strict uptime SLAs.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and troubleshoot core routing and switching platforms (Cisco Nexus, Catalyst, ASR, ISR, 9K / 7K series).
• Ensure latency-optimized Layer 2 / Layer 3 network performance across DC, DR, and co-location trading sites.
• Configure and maintain BGP, OSPF, HSRP / VRRP, Port-Channels, VPC, MST / PVST / STP tuning.
• Perform real-time fault isolation, packet tracing, and escalation handling during trading hours.
• Execute planned maintenance / change windows in controlled trading blackout periods (pre-open / post-close).
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports and audit submissions as per SEBI / compliance standards.
• Coordinate with security, ACI, and application teams for seamless network integration and segmentation.
• Maintain runbooks, network topology schematics, and compliance-ready documentation.
• Contribute to network redundancy planning, DR failover testing, and trading network continuity drills.
