About the Role
This role is a strategic leadership position within Burgundy Private, responsible for driving client acquisition, insurance initiatives, and key strategic projects. The role consolidates responsibilities from client acquisition, investment advisory, and insurance domains to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions to high-net-worth clients.It involves identifying and onboarding new clients through internal channels (Branch Banking, Wholesale Banking, Axis Capital) and external networks, driving insurance penetration, and leading key initiatives for Burgundy Private. The role requires showcasing private banking capabilities, closing strategic opportunities, and managing a team of specialists to deliver investment and insurance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead client acquisition efforts through internal channels (Branch Banking, Wholesale Banking, Axis Capital) and external networks (EO, YPO, TIE).
Showcase the capabilities of the private banking platform to prospective clients.
Identify and close opportunities in the Private Equity and Venture Capital ecosystem, including M&A, public issues, and equity dilution.
Drive insurance penetration and manage strategic insurance initiatives.
Lead a team of investment specialists to deliver wealth management revenue targets.
Grow assets under management (AUM) and client wallet share.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Collaborate with AMCs, research teams, and relationship managers to enhance product offerings.
Monitor industry trends and implement best practices in client advisory and investment strategy.
Drive synergy across teams and regions to maximize client value.
