Project Manager (Immediate Start)

Key Responsibilities

• Project Planning & Execution
• Lead execution of raising, strengthening, and blacktopping of embankments as per BIS Codes and latest High Flood Level (HFL) observations .
• Prepare, review, and monitor DPRs, BOQs, cost estimates, and rate analysis .
• Ensure compliance with hydraulic & hydrological study recommendations for flood protection and river training works.
• Technical Supervision
• Oversee earthwork (large-scale filling / compaction), stone revetment, geo-textile laying, pitching, aprons, and spurs .
• Ensure quality assurance & quality control (QA / QC) across embankment and road works.
• Monitor blacktopping / bituminous road works on long-length embankments (20–80 km scale).
• Stakeholder & Coordination
• Liaise with Water Resources Department, government authorities, consultants, and contractors .
• Manage community coordination and stakeholder engagement in flood-prone / local terrain areas.
• Handle documentation, progress reporting, and compliance with government funding agencies (WRD / PHED / NHAI, etc.).
• Team & Resource Management
• Lead multi-disciplinary site teams including civil engineers, surveyors, QA / QC engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
• Enforce adherence to safety, environmental, and statutory requirements.
