Lead Network Engineer

Job descriptionStrong understanding of routing protocols and network tools : TCP / IP, Multicast (PIM, IGMP, MSDP, GRE, MP-BGP), BGP, EIGRP DNS, DHCP, SNMP, HTTP / HTTPS, SMTP LAN Switching, Router / Switch architectures Real-time and multicast network traffic handling Expertise with tools like Wireshark Broader understanding of AWS and Azure networking Familiarity with network automation tools : Python , Perl , or other scripting languages Ansible , Salt , or other orchestration tools Use of REST APIs , YAML , JSON Experience with the following technologies is a plus : Optical Networking, Load Balancers, SAN, Wireless Networks Network OS : IOS , IOS-XE , JunOS , EOS , F5 / tmsh NSX , Infoblox , Linux Deep understanding of WAN / LAN architectures and data center networking Insight into how modern applications, compute, and storage influence network design Strong oral and written communication Team collaboration and stakeholder engagement Effective prioritization and multitasking in a dynamic environment
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a strong background in routing, switching, multicast, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient, quick to grasp new technologies, and demonstrate a deep understanding of both traditional and modern networking environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage and troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging networking technologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and service providers to ensure optimal network performance.
- Manage multiple network projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and prioritization.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
