About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager – Finance to join our growing team. This role involves overseeing end-to-end finance operations, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, managing internal finance function and supporting process automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and a knack for working in a tech-enabled consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, reconciliations, and monthly closing.
- Prepare or Review financial statements, MIS reports, budgets and variance analyses.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure timely collections of fees receivable.
- Support audit and compliance requirements (Statutory, Internal, GST, TDS, and ROC).
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, confidentiality and organizational standards.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
- Supervise executive and provide review support.
- This is a role for the company and not to work for the Clients of the Company.
- Oversee submissions to be made against notices, if any received from tax & regulatory authorities.
- Work with the HR team for processing of salary and labour law compliances
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance.Proficiency in Zoho Books, or other ERP / Accounting platforms.Advanced Excel and data analysis skills; familiarity with automation tools is an advantage.Strong communication.Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in commerce, Finance, or Accounting.CA Inter with articleship experience would be preferred3 - 6 years of experience(excluding articleship experience) in accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations.Prior experience in outsourcing or consulting will be an added advantage.
