Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Practice Leadership & Business Growth

  • Build, lead, and grow the Data Architecture & Analytics Practice , aligning business, technology, and client goals.
  • Define the strategic roadmap for the practice including offerings, delivery models, and market positioning.
  • Drive revenue generation and profitability through new client acquisition and account expansion.

2. Data Architecture & Solution Design

  • Lead the design and implementation of large-scale, enterprise-grade data architecture solutions .
  • Define best practices for data strategy, governance, modernization, and cloud data platforms.
  • Provide architectural oversight and ensure the technical integrity of all delivered solutions.
  • 3. Sales Leadership & Client Engagement

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with C-suite executives and strategic clients .
  • Partner with sales and delivery teams to develop winning proposals, pricing models, and client presentations.
  • 4. Product & Offering Development

  • Conceptualize, define, and refine data-centric products and service offerings that align with market needs.
  • Work with product management and engineering teams to develop differentiators and accelerators.
  • Stay ahead of market trends to ensure offerings remain innovative and competitive.
  • 5. Team Development & Cross-functional Leadership

  • Mentor and grow a high-performing team of data architects, consultants, and solution leaders.
  • Foster a collaborative culture that drives innovation and accountability.
  • Ensure seamless coordination between sales, delivery, and product functions.
  • Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong expertise in enterprise data architecture , data engineering , and cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proven success in sales leadership , revenue generation , and business development .
  • Exceptional ability to translate technical capabilities into business value propositions .
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on leadership and execution excellence.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree from a Tier 1 institution (IIT, IIM, ISB, XLRI, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 18 years of professional experience in IT services, consulting, or technology-driven businesses .
  • Prior experience in Big 4 consulting firms or top-tier IT services organizations preferred.
