Perp Trading Engineer

who can move fast, ship fast, and integrate perpetual DEX liquidity into a seamless, unified trading experience.

What You’ll Do

Architect and implement

low-latency integrations

with perpetual DEX APIs (e.g., Hyperliquid, Aster, Drift, Jupiter).

Build a

unified liquidity layer

for perps, enabling efficient routing and execution.

Work on backend services for

real-time trading, risk, and settlement systems .

Collaborate with infra engineers to optimize performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.

Research, test, and deploy

DeFi-native trading infrastructure

with a focus on order books, perpetuals, and margin trading.

Must-Have Skills

Strong backend engineering skills in

Rust / Go / TypeScript / Node.js .

Experience with

Web3 development

and understanding of smart contract interaction.

Hands-on exposure to

perp DEX APIs

(Hyperliquid, Aster, dYdX, etc.).

Knowledge of

distributed infra

(Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, validator ops).

Familiarity with

DeFi trading mechanics : order books, perpetuals, margin systems.

Ability to

ship quickly

in fast-paced environments.

Nice-to-Have

Experience with

high-frequency trading (HFT) systems .

Contributions to open-source DeFi projects.

Exposure to

React / Next.js

for frontend dashboards (bonus).
