Job description

1. Facility Management

  • Oversee the maintenance, cleanliness, and functionality of all club areas (gym floor, locker rooms, pool, spa, studios, etc.).
  • Coordinate with vendors, technicians, and contractors for repairs, servicing, and facility upgrades.
  • Ensure all equipment is in working order and regularly serviced.
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety, sanitation, and emergency protocols.

2. Club Operations

  • Manage day-to-day club operations, including front desk, member services, and fitness staff.
  • Implement and monitor standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure high operational efficiency.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to achieve revenue and retention goals.
  • Manage inventory and procurement for club supplies and consumables.
  • 3. Staff Supervision & Development

  • Recruit, train, and manage club staff including trainers, customer service, maintenance, and support staff.
  • Schedule and supervise shifts to ensure proper staff coverage and performance.
  • Foster a positive team environment and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • 4. Member Engagement & Customer Service

  • Ensure a high standard of customer service and satisfaction across all touchpoints.
  • Handle member complaints and concerns with professionalism and prompt resolution.
  • Organize events, challenges, or member engagement initiatives to promote retention and community.
  • 5. Budgeting & Financial Oversight

  • Assist in preparing and managing club budgets and expenses.
  • Monitor revenue streams (memberships, personal training, classes) and control operational costs.
