Cloud Engineering Internship

Job Overview :

As a Cloud Engineering Intern , you will work with the engineering and DevOps teams to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments. You’ll gain hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure management , automation , security , and deployment processes using leading platforms like AWS , Azure , and Google Cloud .

This internship provides a strong foundation in DevOps, CI / CD, and Infrastructure as Code , while giving you real-world exposure to how cloud systems power modern applications.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud , ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Support the automation of deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Terraform , improving deployment speed and accuracy.
• Work on infrastructure as code (IaC) and helped manage configuration and provisioning through Terraform and CloudFormation templates.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and cloud costs , generating reports and dashboards for optimization insights.
• Support cloud security management , including IAM roles, data encryption, access control policies , and routine audits for compliance.
• Assist in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues , identifying root causes, and providing effective solutions under guidance from senior engineers.
• Collaborate with DevOps, software, and IT teams to streamline deployments, improve uptime, and maintain reliable CI / CD processes.
• Gain hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes , contributing to deployment scalability and service reliability.
• Document standard operating procedures (SOPs), deployment workflows , and created knowledge-based materials for internal use.
• Proactively learned new cloud services and technologies , participating in team meetings, reviews, and training sessions to enhance technical skills.
