Role Overview

We are seeking skilled observability Tools SME with deep expertise in multiple observability and monitoring tools.

The SME will be responsible for implementing, configuring and maintaining observability dashboards, alerting mechanisms, and supporting end-to-end monitoring across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments.

This role plays a key role in ensuring service reliability by proactively identifying issues, fine tuning alerts, and enhancing visibility through effective dashboards and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and manage observability tools to monitor applications, infrastructure and cloud environments

Design and develop dashboards, KPIs and visualization reports that provide actionable insights to technical and business stakeholders

Fine tune alerting thresholds, anomaly detection and correlation rules to reduce noise and improve incident response times.

Support the integration of monitoring data with AIOPs and event management platforms

Troubleshoot end to end observability issues spanning app, infra and network layers

Collaborate with applications and SRE teams to onboard new services and ensure proper telemetry data collection

Participate in observability runbooks creation and automation initiatives for self-healing and proactive incident management.

Required Skills

7+ years of experience in IT monitoring, observability, and operations engineering.

Strong hands-on experience with AppDynamics and other required tools

Familiarity with log management and metric collection tools

Experience with cloud monitoring

Knowledge of scripting and / automation
