Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Datacenter Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing advanced datacenter networking solutions built on Cisco Nexus platforms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus platforms, in-depth knowledge of vPC, OTV, and FabricPath technologies, and solid understanding of Layer 2 / 3 networking protocols and enterprise-class environments.

This is a key technical contributor position ensuring network resiliency, scalability, and operational efficiency in complex environments while driving innovation through automation and modern datacenter practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage advanced datacenter networking solutions built on Cisco Nexus platforms (NX-OS, Nexus 5K / 7K; Nexus 9K exposure is beneficial).
• Configure and troubleshoot advanced Cisco datacenter technologies including Virtual Port Channel (vPC), Overlay Transport Virtualization (OTV), and FabricPath.
• Ensure continuous availability, security, and performance of datacenter network infrastructure.
• Perform capacity planning, proactive monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Leverage automation and scripting (Python preferred) to streamline operations and enhance operational consistency.
• Actively contribute to incident management, root cause analysis, and change control processes.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation including network topology, configurations, and operational procedures.
