Description
The Lab Incharge – Food Processing will be responsible for managing the food processing laboratory, overseeing experiments, and ensuring that all processes comply with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in food science and experience in laboratory management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the food processing lab to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Conduct experiments and tests to develop new food processing methods and improve existing processes.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate results.
- Analyze data and prepare reports on findings, presenting them to management and stakeholders.
- Train and supervise lab staff, ensuring adherence to protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to support product development and quality assurance initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, or a related field.1-4 years of experience in a food processing laboratory or similar environment.Strong understanding of food processing techniques and safety regulations.Proficiency in laboratory equipment and analytical methods used in food testing.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Skills Required
