Business Analyst - SAS Programming

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with strong expertise in SAS and SQL to support data-driven decision-making and analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, gathering requirements, analyzing data, and delivering actionable insights.

This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in SQL and SAS, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate functional and technical requirements.
• Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and propose data-driven solutions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications for analytics and reporting.
• Extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets using SQL and SAS.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to support business decision-making.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Validate data integrity and ensure accuracy of analysis and reporting outputs.
• Collaborate with data engineers, database administrators, and other technical teams to ensure correct data extraction and processing.
• Present findings and insights to business stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Assist in defining KPIs, metrics, and success criteria for business initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and analytics workflows.
• Document and maintain business and technical process documentation.
• Support the implementation of data governance and best practices in data handling.
• Proficiency in SAS programming for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of SQL for querying, data transformation, and data validation.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools : Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView (preferred).
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and database design.
• Ability to write complex queries, joins, and perform data validation
